An interesting article appeared in The Washington Post entitled, ‘Question for the Ages: What Books When?‘ The article was written by Valerie Strauss of the ‘Post’. After giving a few examples of parents being upset about books their children were reading or being read to at school she says,
‘The episodes illustrate how difficult it is for librarians, teachers and parents to match children with the right book at the right age in an effort to turn young people into lovers of reading. And experts say that process is becoming increasingly complicated.’
Check out the article it is quite interesting.
