There was an interesting article on Craigslist.org in the February 11th issue of NEWSWEEK. It was entitled, “I Need a Hit Man. Now“. It shared examples of how the site had been used in different ways by criminals. Examples: murder for hire, child pornography, prostitution, drug dealing, scams, etc. The article emphasizes that the number of problems are very small compared to the number of postings that go up every month. I really like Craigslist and have used it for good several times. It is like eBay or anything else online (or on the street for that matter) you need to be careful and keeps your eyes open.
