How in the world have I missed all of the “Book Pile” excitement?  LOL.  It’s great!

LibraryThing.com’s blog has quite a few entries on them including a Book Pile contest.

Do a Google Search on “book pile” and you’ll find all kinds of interesting things.

There seems to be potential here in book displays and for student interaction (contests, exhibits, etc.)

By the way, we have Books on our stairs at the front entrance.  I LIKE it.  My wife tolerates it.  Ha! Ha!
